Our Aims

The Paediatric Neurodisability Research Network aims to improve research in the following areas:

Research

  • To promote high quality research in paediatric neurodisability

  • To encourage collaboration between academic researchers, clinical practitioners, educators, children and families

  • To plan future research projects

Education

  • To promote the inclusion of Paediatric Neurodisability in undergraduate and post-graduate training through research projects and PhD co-supervisions

Open and Equitable Research

  • To practice Open Access Science for all research projects related to the Research Network

  • To promote the principles of co-design to include children with disabilities and their families at all stages of the research process

  • To make available research findings and outputs accessible to non-specialists

  • To make clinical tools developed through research freely available to clinicians educators and parents
